Bio

I'm a lawyer and advisor with over 25 years of experience representing creative professionals, industry executives, founders, and the companies they've built. My practice blends legal expertise, business strategy, and human insight, shaped by decades at the center of creative business.

I began as a Law Clerk in Federal District Court, S.D.N.Y. and then a litigation associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. From there I transitioned to entertainment law, spending nearly a decade in film, advertising, and ultimately fashion.

Pearce LLP was founded in 2003. An early client was Alexander McQueen, whom I represented in the sale of his company to the Gucci Group. Soon after, I represented Nicolas Ghesquière, whose singular talent at Balenciaga spurred Gucci Group to engage him and acquire the company. I later became a Director of Balenciaga.

Today I serve an international clientele of creatives, executives, and founders. I have represented the designer in creative director engagements with 20+ European luxury brands and additional American brands. I advise and represent founders from early-stage development through sale of their companies and beyond.

In 2023 I earned a certification in Coaching from Columbia University to enhance my advisory advisory practice. In 2025 I became a faculty member of the New York Bar Association's Continuing Legal Education program.

Separate from my professional work, I serve on the Board of Catholic Guardian Services, one of the largest nonprofits serving underprivileged children and families in New York City. I'm also a member of the National Arts Club (est. 1898).

Education: Columbia University School of Law, J.D. · Columbia University, Certification in Leadership Coaching (2023) · Brown University, B.A. (inc. Université de Lyon II), Women's Varsity Ice Hockey

I live and work between Paris and New York and am fluent in French. Interests include surfing and independent film.
