Board & Independent Director Roles

I bring to board service what most directors don't: twenty-five years inside fashion, luxury, and the industries around them, from the design studio to the closing table, with the legal and strategic fluency to navigate both.

Catholic Guardian Services, Director — eight years. A New York City nonprofit serving the city's most vulnerable children and families, with an annual operating budget of approximately $100 million. Co-Chair, Program and Quality Improvement Committee; member, Executive, Litigation, and Development Committees.

Balenciaga, Director (prior) — appointed following my representation of Nicolas Ghesquière in the transaction that brought him and the company into the Gucci Group. Served for more than a year alongside the founder, as Director and ad hoc diplomat from his team during a tumultuous integration with a luxury house.

In business as in marriage, nobody likes to deal with the prenup. But somebody’s got to do it, and in fashion, that somebody is often attorney Elizabeth Q. Pearce.
